Hey floha, dont try to put the cart before the horse. Make it through BCT,AIT, and BAC ,THEN and only then should you even worry about entertaining thoughts such as those.

I was thinking you'd go with the p.net Holiday Chorus and drinking society.

Steve, that is a great video you have posted! Thanks!

As far as getting shorter, I don't know if it is from the jumps or from getting old. I have lost 1 1/2 inches over the years. So I'm not 6' tall any more - that's the least of my worries.

Merry Christmas!

Forget about taking pictures at the unit, too. Some dumbass used those camera phones on thier first jump in Division and they were taking pictures in the cockpit. Dude got an article 15 and the informal norm is gone. No camera, no how, no sir no way.

And no, hit, that isn't the big pic in Gavin Hall, but it's close. I walk by that thing several times a day.

Apparently I worded the questions all sorts of wrong.

#1 - While getting shorter would suck, it is the least of my worries. It's not a big thing, though again, it would suck. Royally. Very much so. I would hate it.

#2 - I am not all that interested in taking a camera with me on jumps. And I didn't necessarily mean Jump school, I dunno why I said that. It seems like when I'm parachuting I'd much rather be worried about getting the chute open and not smacking into the ground. I have all the footage I need on those crazy TV shows. It was just a rumor I'd heard about (again from my recruiter...which is why I was interested in clarifying the matter.)

But thanks for the answers.

When I was in, taking pictures in flight, during descent. or on the DZ were absolutely against regs. But some Troopers did it anyway. Art.15 if they were caught. Attempting to make a running, walking, or standing PL was also a quick Art.15, and usually a quick trip to the hospital as well, but there was always some macho hotshot willing to chance it.
