Since the bases in the Canal Zone were closed there is no longer a Jungle Operations Training Center.

Air assault is not an enlistment option. If you can get BAC with an airborne unit you will have a good chance at getting a slot for air assault.
A little advice, don't worry about what schools you can and can't get in the Army. Get what you can in your contract and concentrate on completing the training necessary to get to your first unit. Once you get to that unit you will be able to determine for yourself what schools are possible, air assault, Ranger, etc., and what is required to get a slot.
You need to quit looking way down the road and focus on what is in front of you.
Besides, the units you seem to want to get into are likely to be extremely busy over the next few years with real world missions and the time to attend those schools may be hard to come by. Your value to the Army and to the Country will be in performing those missions.

Sometimes you'll find yourself getting the training without the school. I've rigged helicopters pallets bundles and HMMVs for Air Mobile ops and rappelled from tower, cliff, helicopter and building but never been to Air Assualt school. I think quite a few have done Air Mobile type missions without ever having been to Air Assualt at Campbell. I was sent to the 2nd ID scout sniper school but never got the B4 since it wasn't DA approved I was LRS, ATL and TL but never attended LRSLC.
Go Airborne and get 82nd, 173rd, 101st, 509th or 75th and you'll get most of the other training and eventually get the schools.

Roadwarrior, I understand that and there's no problem with that. But you need to be aware of what is and isn't possible on your enlistment contract and focus on getting what you want there. The recruiters on this board can help you with that. But the other options that may be available later, whether schools or deployment, will depend on the circumstances of where you end up. There is little to nothing you can do now about getting certain training down the line. Focus on what you can get now and prepare yourself for that.
If you want the 75th and you can get it you need to be preparing now. A lot of info has been posted about RIP and what it takes to make it to the 75th RR. If you are interested in the 18x program there is also information previously posted about what it takes for that. If you want the 82nd or one of the other airborne units you need to be talking to the recruiters and getting yourself in shape. If you actually prefer air assault to BAC then you need to go to the 101st.
The point is focus on what can be obtained now and work on the others when you can get them.
