okay I have done both searches on this site and on the net and I haven't been able to find conclusive answers about army/military Correspondence Courses. I am finishing up my "negotiations"/trying to get the victory challenge thing to work for me with the ARNG in CA. I am a civilian Paramedic joining as a 91W. What I am wondering is about the correspondence course like the 18D prep courses can you get college credit for these?
Can you get the Navy CD-Rom coures like ACTLS(advanced combat trauma life support) or are those only for Navy? I know this sounds like a dumb question but a old paramedic partner of mine was a corpsman with Marine recon and he took the 18D prep classes while in.
thanks

I don't know if this will help or not,I did the 18D course,I have my course completetion forms in front of me,the addresss on them is,
Department of The Army
Academy of Health Sciences,United States Army
Fort Sam Houston,Texas 78234-6100
I know my commander had to sign off on the enrollmeny form to get them.If you need the sub-course numbers, send me a e-mail,I'll give em to you.Are you registered in the AIPD website? The Army Institute for Professional Development. If not make sure you are.I completed stacks and stacks and stacks of correspondance courses, alot of MOS's you cant get promoted without doing them, the 18D is worth 117 hours,(I just added mine up)the sooner you knock alot out the better.
