HOOAH Kert!
To be very honest, some of the best soldiers I've had the priviledge of serving with were immigrants... They seemed to all have an insinctive understanding of the freedoms many Americans take for granted and were motivated.

This country is built on immigrants from all over the world who sacrificed to make us a GREAT nation. The US military has a history of accepting immigrants who, after a period of successful service, gain citizenship. We not only should support this, but encourage it.

Hossra you are absolutely correct! Why we have many fine soldiers from Alabama serving in our armed forces, why once they learn the language many go on to have excellant careers and become productive citizens![ ][ ]
So anyone who really wants to serve in the military and has a love of freedom should be rewarded with citizenship. SF would not have the legacy it has today if not for the Lodge Act soldiers who joined the Army from many eastern European countries during the Cold War years after WWII.

So whats stopping you Robal? I would say you are probably the most respected foreign member here. No offence to you Canucks. Dont really consider you guys foreign. You can finish your studies here in the states someday. Dont you allready have some military service in Poland? I'm sure that would help you here.

Hey, now. Alabama has a long and fine milit'ry tradition.
Go with God, but make Him walk the point.
If you load a mudfoot down with a lot of gadgets he has to watch somebody a lot more simply equipped - say with a stone axe - will sneak up and bash his head in while he is trying to read a Vernier. - Robert Heinlein
