Did anybody catch the show that was on ABC tonight? It was damm good and very moving. It was all about this company of Marines pushing through to Baghdad. Some video that has'nt been seen before. Some stories that the public needed to hear.
There only KIA was their 1SGT. Seemed like a great leader and a good man. Had his retirment papers in when stop loss hit. RIP 1SGT Smith.

Saw it and I have to agree, one of the better shows I have seen from a network in a long time. It really brought home the full range of emotions and showed a great example of leadership.

I got to see it also and it was awesome. I'm surprised we haven't seen more shows of this nature. Like it said at the end this was just one average company. There are probably a hundred stories just like it that can be told.

I agree with you 100% furham! There ought to be at least one one hour special every week, about our heroes serving in Iraq,Afghanistan or the other hotspots around the globe.

If nothing else gives you faith in America, those guys should. I saw it and I was really sad. Thinking about losing the 1Sgt. and the Co Gunny having to step up would hurt. The first time they moved out on the tracks had to be tough. The Gunny jacking his seat up higher would be the best thing he could have done.

That is why Marines like to be surrounded by Marines.
