What pisses me off most about this is that there's mandatory PT for those who FAIL - It should be mandatory PT for ALL Airmen...

I have to agree, being prior Army, and then joining the Air Force, it's a very different world. Mandatory PT is being held at my squadron and I have conducted PT, "Army" style a few times and these airmen are way out of shape. Even me being out for awhile I can still do more PT than they can. I think it's a good idea to make the PT test mandatory for the Air Force. It will give the Air Force more esprit de corps and make them feel more accepted in the Armed Forces community. Even the standards aren't all that hard to accomplish and maintain.
