ok i just read online while doing my news reading and was wondering this...
since SF and others are in colombia doing the drug war thing and are being fired at and all, hasnt the govt or army declared colombia a combat zone? if not shouldnt these men who have been under fire there be qualified for a CIB and CMB? or is this going to be another el salvador thing where guys had to wait almost 10 years or so to receive their recognition?

I just thought there were independant civilian contractors teaching about communications equipment, uncommonly fit and well armed contractors.
