Alot of good info on this site.Camoflauge is essential if you are stationary. However, combat movement sometimes isnt addressed as thoroughly as possible. Minimizing silhoute, walking tactically by keeping a rock, tree ect in front of you as much as possible. Listening and noise discipline are critical skills too. Some equipment issues that came out of Astan are discussed. Those of you with recent combat experience may have some interesting insights tp share.

Damm Doc!, sounds like you need a class on "how to get what you need in the Infantry". Its called... Steal everything: that doesnt belong to a Grunt.

In all my 35 yrs I never heard that one[^]. But its the perfect explanation for the word in a military to military setting[thup]. Allthough it could be on a random basis rather than a systmatic one. However if it was policy than it would be system wide. Come to think of it that is the policy of 90% of the Grunts I ever knew.[bigM][][thup][][LOL][ziplip]
