Point taken, to be honest with you I usually only mention that I enlisted into Infantry when asked what I'll be doing. I've gotten similar advice elsewhere to ignore the horror stories or the people in OSUT who think they know what to expect. I'll refrain from mentioning it in the future, thanks for the advice.
I don't expect it to be easy, hell it was a pain in the ass just getting the contract. I screwed up at MEPS but was able to correct the problem a week ago and got Option 40 added. Not going to get any easier I know, just have to do the best I can and see what happens.
