While I strongly dislike Barry, I don't think the Democrats would be so stupid as to not ensure a candidate's eligibility prior to nominating him.

| As for B. Huessein Obama being elected President, the American people have spoken; whether for good or ill remains to be seen. I didn't vote for him and he's not my president. He's just a temporary resident of the office of President and I pray that we'll get through these dark times as we did when Slick Willy and the Wicked Witch of the East were in charge. I'll have to brush up on my Democrat salute. If it gets too bad I'm off to Oz where a man can be a man and can come into his own.

| This is all very strange. Obama fought that law suit in Philadelphia regarding his birth certificate and had it thrown out for lack of standing a couple of weeks before the election. It seems to me that it would have been far easier (and cheaper) to just throw down a certified copy of the certificate and discredit the guy bringing the suit. Not doing that just raises more suspicion. Well, it appears that he is our President now for better or worse. I hope he does well, not because I voted for him (I did not), but because he can lead our country into extreme danger if he does poorly.
