Wasn't trying to sound like a dismissive ass to you Ray. I always dig wrapping about airplanes.

Let me say this men, the Air Force tried to get rid of the A-10 once and as we all know its still here.It may turn out to be like the b-52 ,older than the pilots flying it.The A-10 is a Paratroopers best friend when enemy tanks show up.

Gents, on July 7 the F-35 JSF was officially named the "Lightning II."  Wonder if all three versions (USN, USMC, and USAF) will be called that?

Hmm... the F-22 was originally going to recieve that name but the USAF opted for Raptor instead...
