The 108th ADA??? My cousin Larry was the CSM of the 108th ADA prior to them deploying to Iraq. But his wife had a stroke and they let him stay behind as CSM of the 6th ADA. He's retired now, but currently their Honorary CSM and a Distinguished member of the Regiment.

To bad he is a LEG!!!!!! LOL!!! I've never let him live that down!!!!

Link to the 6th ADA Regiment. He's the Honorary CSM in the center........

Yeah, when we were at the 82nd Assoc convention 2 years ago we found out they'd be a corps asset and a lot of the 3/4 types were not happy about it.

i was assigned to 3RD Battalion (AIRBORNE) 4TH Air Defense Regiment from 2003-2007 and deployed twice (2003-04, 2006-07) with HHB the 1st time and C BTRY the 2nd time...

it got crazy when we came home the 2nd time. we wore the 82nd patch in iraq but as soon as we got home, we lost our patch and became part of the 108th AMD Brigade which had just come over from Bliss...

so now they r a Corp asset and no longer a part of 82nd...

as we all said, we were dead weight and got the boot from our home in the 82nd which left a sour taste in alot of us Paratroopers...

and yes, we r not Three Quarters...
its 3RD of the 4TH - we were the most decorated battalion when in Division...

Welcome to the site and thanks for the info.  But in addition to what Al said you should understand that when posting here you are not text messaging.  Proper capitilazation(like at the beginning of a sentence and proper nouns) and punctuation(you only need one period at the end of a sentence) are expected.  And while "r" for "are" is acceptable when texting a friend it is not here.  You will get the hang of the board after a few on the spot corrections.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American GI.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.
