Fort Richardson’s 4th Quartermaster Detachment has sent a section of their riggers to Japan for a second round of War Stock Inspections in support of 8th U.S. Army.

The Soldiers are housed at Camp Zama and work at Sagami Army Depot, which is in Sagamihara, Japan, just outside of Tokyo.

There, the 4th QM Soldiers have been tasked with inspecting 39,000 air items worth more than $30 million, including the massive G-11 parachute capable of supporting 42,000 pounds of equipment.
