Hmmm, I'd have to beg to differ with you on that one! COHORT III was the best damned Airborne Company going... Heck when we got to Italy (after you left...) the rest of 4th Bn was glad they could finnaly have a Company they could emmulate and chase to be the best.

You certainly are a crazy one, I'll give you that. Check the record books at Bragg...We own 'em all. Still don't believe? Go to General McNeil's retirement ceremoney this month and ask HIM. LTC Rosner and DIV SGM Slocum will be there. McNeil told them that we were the best he ever saw.

But do you hold the record for the largest number of Summary Article 15's distributed at the same time? We had the 7&7 Club stalked pretty darned well I tell ya! About half the damned Company.

Pretty darned sure we broke some of your records Bro... I know we broke all previous records set at the Infantry School.

No one outperformed us in 3d, 4th Bn, or 2D Brigade!! Must be an Airborne COHORT thing...
Found some interesting reading online about the COHORT system as well. Remember all those damned surveys and questionaires we had to fill out? They actually did something with that. Huge Psych evaluation, that showed with few cases that COHORT worked. Some of the later ones suffered because of poor leadership, those who felt they could get away with treating their troops like crap because as a whole they would not know any better. (had a bit of that as well)
