Anyone want to tell me when the last trip was the Sen Obama took to Iraq or Afghanistan? Heck, how about any State Side installation?

Freaking toolObama was noted as being against the war in Iraq in 2002, but in a speech dated July of 2004, he said the US had an obligation to remain in Iraq long enough to make it a success. Then in Janruary of 2006, he make a trip to Iraq with a few others and came back spouting for pulling all troops out of Iraq by a certain date because he and others thought US policy was failing. He skipped the scheduled flight to A-stan during the Iraqi trip though; far as I know, he has never been and probably won't IMO. He's already put his foot in his mouth over what he see's as our lack of commitment in A-stan.

Political double speak so that he can say that he's opposed but that he wouldnt support an immediate full pullout. Gives him that 'safe zone' to be for and against at the same time. I wouldnt worry about the war sinking Obama, Rev Wright is going to single handedly set back race issues and torpedo Obama. He keeps talking and he just gives the wrong people the reason to hate Obama not on his politics (of which I feel he should be judged) but on his race and his affiliations.

Any man or woman – especially a Presidential candidate – should indeed be judged by his or her affiliations. Reverend Wright is an extremist, and at the very least he is “guilty” of hate speech. It is unfathomable that any 20+ year follower of the Reverend doesn’t subscribe to his worldview. This is not a case of guilt by association, but rather an insight into Obama’s belief system.
