I've been a 25C for almost 12 years now.  I've spent most of that time in Spec Ops.  Can any of my high speed, airborne, signal brothers or sisters tell me what I can expect when I finally get my ass out of the 3d ID (M).  Don't ask me how I found myself in this unit.  I'm currently in Iraq with about 8 months to go.  My SGM (signal) told me that the 3d ID is doing away with all 25C positions and most of us would go back to SF groups or SOCs.  I'm pretty sure I won't be going back to an SF group since I'm an E-6 so where does this leave me?  I'd love to hear anyones opinion on the matter.  Thanks.

Sounds odd that the Army would eliminate that position. Afterall what grunt wants to carry a bunch of radios, batteries, anntenna kits along with everything else. When I was in the MOS was 31C.

You'll notice that this topic is almost three years old.  How about not digging up old, dead topics.

509 I did notice that the topic was a bit old but as it was still viewable I felt inclined to respond.

Maybe this site needs to have an archive feature that will remove a post that has not had a reply in say 60 days so as to make sure no one digs up old dead topics.

Just a thought.
