I am never heard of anything like this while I was assigned to USAREC. It is quite possible they did, but I just do not remember hearing about any at all within the Bn I was assigned to. (Trust me, if there was any dirt floating around about any of the Recruiters i would have heard it.. unfortunately at times I did hear more than I wanted to). My memories are more about the absolute pressure placed on the recruiters to make mission, to crank out contacts, and if they didn't... man that 1sg would tear them up hard. Seeing Recruiters relieved for not making mission, the CO getting relieved (well that was because of an incident she had with the 1sg and his wife...), Recruiters maybe overstating expenses, but never heard of a Recruiter assaulting a Recruit. I do wonder WTF is going on when hearing about numbers like this. As RR said, "one is too many". Sounds like with the pockets where thay have had multiple Recruiters accused, there is a break down somewhere in the CoC as well as with the individual Recruiters
Abraham Lincoln (quiet, reserved and selfless): “The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here” -Gettysburg Address Obama (egotistical): “Now the world will watch and remember what we do here”

Blacksmith Six (9/26/2006) RR, one out of 200 recruiters means, statistically speaking, there's an investigation going on in every recruiting battalion, give or take a few. BS6, I copy you now...did not read you before.

| Ever wander why USAREC demands a current DA photo prior to accepting an NCO into the ARC. They need to pick ugly a$$ old men and women that are married and have to many years invested in the Army to play stupid High School games with an 18 year old child that has absolutely nothing to offer them.
