Looking for something different to send to your WIFE or family member for b-day, anniversary, etc?  Try out these websites for size.

www.fruitflowers.com

I received a fruitbasket when I had my surgery and I loved it.  The fruit is cut to look like flowers.  They even have chocolate covered items as well for those who have to have the chocolate.  I just ordered the Noah's Ark one (Pineapple is in the shape of bears) for my friend here at work who just had a baby.

www.cookiesbydesign.com

I just ordered my Grandpa an Easter cookie basket and I send these cookie bouquets out whenever I can.  Sent Jim the "Old Buzzard" one on his b-day.  The cookies are good and they have a lot of different bouquets for different reason.

I prefer to send sympathy cards for all occasions.
For graduations, I just say, "My condolences, welcome to the real world."
For birthdays: "You are another year closer to death."
Anniversary: "I'm sorry you still have to put up with me still."
Get well soon: "Your pain is just beginning." Alternate: "This was the best thing in the gift shop."

Works for everything but funerals.

I lack people-skills.

Jen, the fruit thing looks great and I was just going to send one to my beloved HH6 but found that they don't deliver where I live She'd have loved it.

yeah, I was going to send one to my Grandpa, but they do not deliver to Fort Wayne.  Sad.  There is another website out there

http://www.ediblearrangements.com/

I am not sure where you live, but they are limited to franchises.

Q: Miss, were you cited in the accident?
A: Yes, sir, I was so 'cited I peed all over myself.

Harry and David is nice.  These are just a bit different though than your average gift basket
