Every year the Larson clan (60+) get together for an exchange.  I emailed the family list and asked this year that the money used for a gift for myself and Jim be used to support both www.woundedwarriorproject.org and the Special Operations Warrior Fund.  I have been asking this of them for a couple of years now as I tend to get an exchange gift that cannot or willnot be used.  I would rather have the money spent on something worthwhile.  Feel free to check out both of these great charities this Christmas Season.

I have a some information on the project, a very little unknown fact that came about due to the issues at WR.

If the veterans returns from OIE, OEF wounded they are in the WW Program. Once on leave or hold with the military and they would like to preregister if you will they can. Any VA in CONUS. They will treat the veterans and worry about the cost and payments later. The billing is deferred until they get their DD214 and they can then determine who to bill and so on.

This is factual information I got from the VA, I have a soldier I am trying to put back to work here in KS that is in the WWP and it is how we found out. I checked and verified this. If a veteran trys' and does not get this service, let me know, we will find out who to call and get it fixed. Most VSR's do not even know this yet. It has not been made public that I know of.
