79 yo jogger was "pronounced" dead by passerby.  Sheriff Deputy revived him.

Doesn't the term "Medical Professional" cover a wide range? Maybe it was a dental technician.

The only person who can pronounce you dead is a MD.

Over the years, I have seen people who appear dead, pulseless, not breathing, cyanotic, who when EMS puts a three lead EKG on them, they have a very slight pulse, one so faint that you could not feel it. Much of the time, they have been down for so long without adequate oxygen, if they do survive, their brain function is nil. BTW, one of these people who said one was dead on scene was a doctor.
