I am trying to fill in the history of our C-47 The Black Sparrow. She was part of the 302nd Troop Carrier Squadron (2L). I've been told they took in the 101st on D-Day, but have never found any info to back it up. I have found in a book their Troop Carrier Group took in gliders with the 325th on the second day.

I have a copy of the C0-pilots log book and he copied his flights, in Operation Market-Garden they took in the 82nd to Nijmegen. I don't know which regiments or which drop zones.

They also took part in the Southern France mission and the Drop across the Rhine. CAn anyone help fill in the blanks?
