Welcome Bro, my first 7 month's overseas were in a sister Bn to the 2/87th the 5/87th and yes they sure did SUCK THE BIG GREEN WEENIE as I came to call it.  Thankfully this all changed when I got the chance to go over to the Airborne Bn the 1/508th and finish out my tour over there; from there I got orders for JRTC where I finished out my Army career with HHC 1/509 in the SCOUT PLT in 90'.    Pardon the longwindedness it's been a day or so since I've been on Pnet, guess I'm having my flashback moment or something..

Anyways time for more Coffee...

"ALL THE WAY"

I'm Surprised Panama's still sea level, after all the Push Ups I did down there.

Wild Bill, welcome to the site.  I am the Treasurer for the 509th Association so let me know if you need anything.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American GI.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.
