Just signed on.  I was with B company in Vicenza from May 1974 thru September 1976.  Trying to find out whatever happened to the 509th PIA.  The website disappeared over a year ago and I've not heard of any replacement.

Glad to be back among my brothers.

Hey Welcome to the digiDZ, hope you find the folks you're looking for, there are lots of 509 folk here

"...my religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me." He added, after a pause, looking me full in the face: "That is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave"

Welcome to the DZ, and 509Trooper from here can give you all the info you need regarding the 509th Association.

I'm Surprised Panama's still sea level, after all the Push Ups I did down there.

Russ, welcome to the site.  The Association is alive and well.  Are you getting the newsletter?  There are plans in the works to get a new site up, this time one sponsored by the Association, but haven't had much chance to do much work the last couple of months.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American GI.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.
