On December 10th, 2006 my twin brother was killed in the streets of Baghdad. He was riding in the humvee with his best friends at his side. With luck and the grace of our maker, his two friends survived the explosion of the roadside bomb that killed my brother. They are in IC in Germany. It was only his second week in Baghdad. He had only complained to me four days earlier that he was tired of waiting to get to do his job. At 21-years-old he died doing the one thing he had dreamed of since we were kids: being an army man. I am lost... Being the sole beneficiary I have been searching for a proper memorial statue to be set at his grave. I need to know if the Battle Cross is a good idea. I am not sure if that is only used for one branch of the military or if it is for all U.S. soldiers. Philip Cody Ford was a paratrooper and I want the best thing to commemorate him. If anyone can answer this question or has any ideas it would be much appreciated. Funeral plans have yet to be made, but if anyone is interested in attending they are more than welcome. Also attending will be the Patriot Guard. He will be coming home to Jones Creek, Texas (forty-five minutes south of Houston) tomorrow. my email- ttu_dr@hotmail.com

| Damn Steven. So sorry for your loss. If I lived in Texas, I would be there. May you find comfort knowing you now have a Paratrooper standing guard forever over you in Heaven. Rest in peace, Paratrooper.
