Far as Democrats go, Obama has a fairly conservative voting record... he's co-sponsered and voted for quite a bit of pro-veteran and homeland security legislation. I might not agree with everything he says and does but I certainly think he has genuine faith... by using the white male population as a touch point in that particular speech, the senator is focusing on what is still the largest demographic of the population to make a point. Antipathy is the venom which has infected our nation... and neither party can claim to hold any sort of moral authority based on level of faith.
