On Saturday, August 12th, at 10 a.m. there will be an Airborne Memorial Stone dedication at the Airborne Circle in Ft. Snelling National Cemetary, Minnesota. The units to be honored this year are the XVIII Airborne Corps, 506th PIR and the 509th PIB. The dedication is part of the All Airborne Days events hosted by the Midwest All Airborne Alliance. There will be a dinner on Friday, August 11th at the Richfield American Legion #435 and a pig roast picnic at the Minnesota ANG "Contact Club" at Ft. Snelling.
