I'm also at McCoy as I write this...  One of our group ran into some Canadian Paras at the PX earlier today.

Hope the jumps go well - Too bad we couldn't have coordinated a link-up!

damn man, oh well. I was probably at the PX at the same time.
unfortunately I couldn't jump and get my US wings. first jump there, we jumped out with winds 11/gusting and the plane doing at LEAST 180 knots (man they were flying 200 the day later is what the jm's were telling me, bloody crazy if you ask me, way too dangerous) anyways. we jumped on dz badger, and I hit a guys chute, and no matter how hard I tried couldn't get away from him. getting ready for the landing started to oscilate, got turned (was ready for right front, turned into a right rear) didn't have the knees together apparently, hit the ground feet ass head. lower spine sprain. yeah that hurt alot. but I'm okay, got x-ray and was cleared of anythin serious cept they wouldn't let me jump. it sucks.
at least I traded berets with a pretty good looking chick right?
