Since the late 70s till present the free world has seen a lot of mainly islamic tango activity directed against it.

On June 14, 1985 tangos hijacked TWA flight 847 and at one point during the ordeal singled out Petty Officer (USN Diver) Robert D. Stethem from amongst the passengers, torturing the 24 year old navy diver and finally executing him in cold blood, they later threw his body from the Boeing 727 on to an airport tarmac.  Due to passenger accounts of how Stethem conducted himself the entire time in front of tango slime the USN awarded him posthumously the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart for being KIA in the early GWOT.
