You know what I didnt like? UH-60 jumps,I didnt like the whole going straight up looking down thing,plus it was 1500 ft agl,I have one CH-47 jump,that one I really liked,I loved looking out the back of that thing,and just stepping off.I always wanted to jump that colt at polk,you polk guys are lucky!Never got a -60 or -47, but I did get a Huey blast for PLDC. We also left half a chute in a tree. Dumba$$ didn't know how to pull slip or something. We hooked the chute to a winch on a deuce and pulled... The best landings I ever had were in Key West. Three of 'em at Sharkwater DZ. That's right, intentional water landings in the Gulf, PT's and tenny-runners. God bless the spec-ops guys...
