I really feal like using some choice ABN Infantry "Verbage" right now.......Anyway any airborne qualified SWO's out there? I really need some help on this one. below is copied version of a posting on AKO.  I will reframe from using names of who I spoke to at Signal Warrant accessions office so in case there is a snowball's chance in hell I can get this worked out.

I am 35 years old (well under the 46 yo cut-off)
I never applied for 254A Signal Support Tech as I did not have a feeder MOS but I used to be commo 31C, 31D, And I have a GT score of 123. I can now apply due to changes allowing all MOS's to apply, However I have 13 years in AFS and the signal branch is unwilling to consider a waiver, This is due to some 2 blocked NCOER's I was told. I only have 3 NCOER's as I had a break in service and spent most of my practical work in the field as an SPC/E-4 This is regardless of outstanding letter of recommendation from my former CDR from Iraq. I was also told that they need senior CW4/5's and that guys like me in that do get selected retire at cw2/3, This presumes a lot about me I think considering that a CW4/5 can stay in 30+ years. I am willing to leave active service and apply through the Reseves but I think this is a lot to ask for a twice combat proven Solidier with family, this would be a huge financial burden. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am applying for a Warrant signal position but I was told that I could not even be considered for An AFS waiver since I have 13 years. Below is a copy of a letter of recommendation from my old CDR. Does anyone have any helpful suggestions?

MEMORANDUM FOR President, Warrant Officer Accession Board

SUBJECT: Letter of Recommendation for Selection as a Warrant Officer

SSG Campbell, Dale E.
418-21-2059

1. SSG Dale E. Campbell is an outstanding choice for selection to be a Warrant Officer. While I served with SSG Campbell as his company commander in Iraq, he earned a reputation for competence and leadership. I selected SSG Campbell to serve as the head of my company communications section based on his proven ability to operate without close supervision, his outstanding initiative, and his level headed demeanor.

2. SSG Campbell served as the company RTO in Iraq. In this capacity he was responsible for maintaining radio communications, often across non doctrinal distances, executing the company communications maintenance program, supervising and mentoring other platoon and company RTOs, and establishing and running the company command post. SSG Campbell performed his duties even when under direct and indirect fires. He demonstrated technical abilities on numerous communications systems including vehicular and man-packed FM systems, Tactical satellite (TACSAT), and FBCB2 platforms. SSG Campbell was able to keep us talking despite grueling temperatures and dusty conditions, and a lack of maintenance facilities. He also served as a company driver routinely setting the example on performing proper PMCS, and combat driving TTPs.

3. SSG Campbell was always the first NCO in the company to spend his time and energy to improve living conditions for the entire company to alleviate our arduous and austere conditions. The company moved around a lot over the course of our deployment. SSG Campbell routinely installed lights, improved hygiene facilities, and improved the efficiency of the company command posts. He was always able to provide me an accurate update about what was going on with company patrols, etc, enabling me to go out and see what was happening on the ground without being tied to the command post.

4. SSG Campbell?s performance in combat was nothing short of spectacular. He understands training, needs no guidance, and anticipates problems along with the recommended solution for the problem. SSG Campbell has absolutely unlimited potential and will serve as a Warrant Officer with distinction.
