Static Line Airborne Awards are now just a memory.  It was good to see old freands and meet new ones.  I finally came face to face with Para Pete - we decided to sit at the same table during the banquet and had an enjoiable evening.

However, I was very disappointed and embarrassed for the 82nd Airborne Division, that no one from the Division showed up for the scheduled briefing on activities of the 82nd.  The briefing room remained empty and no one had any idea why the 82nd was AWOL.

By contrast, the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), had an excellent presentation by COL Mike Steele, the CO of the 187th BCT.  HOOAH RAKKASANS!
