Maybe they got tired of being confused with one of the Village People?

It seems the Navy may be going through an identity crisis. First they steal the USMC Uniform, now they don't want to be called Sailors, what's next?

They will NEVER get away from being called Sailors....that is simply history and it ain't gonna change that easily!

I am just really amazed they are not wearing berets.  It seems all of the uniforms are starting to get so similar, they could be inter-changed...and maybe that is what the government is working toward.  Would save them money, huh?  To hell with tradition...it's economical!!!!
