Im trying to get the most current techniques/methods so I can get my guys up to speed on the skills they need, even if we are MP's and not grunts.

If someone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it, as it's hard for us guardsmen to get the most current trainig info sometimes.

After all, patrolling is a skill every soldier needs. Urban fighting skills are needed big-time givenmy units designated mission & commanders intent.

To supplement AKO, go to the Small Wars Journal, formerly known as Urban Operations Journal and before that as Military Operations on Urbanized Terrain (MOUT) Homepage -- excellent resource, includes discussion area, articles new and archived, research links, and much more.  http://www.smallwarsjournal.com/
