Who - All attendees. RSVP to: JR@combatweather.org What - Combined Pnet gathering and Veteran's Day celebration. When - Date is set for Saturday, 13 Nov 2004. Where - Near Atlanta, GA. Why - PARTY! Drinks - We will have keg beer (Miller Lite) and soft drinks - Bring any liquor, wine or "special" beer, if desired. Food - Working. Lodging - Cots and couches available on-site. Bring tents if you want to sleep outside. Excellent commercial lodging facilities within 2 miles.

With appologies. I will be undergoing surgery on Nov 12 so travel will obviously not be permitted by the Home Command. Have fun, stay safe... sorry we wont be able to make it.

Sounds like a great idea.  However, I will not be able to be with the P.net group as I have made a commitment to be in Washington, DC for a three day Veteran's Day event conducted by the 82nd Airborne Division Association. We go to Arlington National Cemetary with the 82nd Abn. Division Color Guard and bugler, and stop at each Airborne Regiment monument or plaque to pay respect to our fallen comrades. It is quite an emotional moment to hear the bugler play Taps at each site and hear a veteran of that Regiment speak. On November 11 we participate in ceremonies at the Korean War Veterans monument and at the Vietnam War Veterans Wall. This year there will also be a ceremony at the WW II Monument.
