This is not to cast dark aspersions upon any of the fine Reservists and National Guard troops over here in Iraq. I have worked among them for some time now and have a lot of admiration for their selfless dedication to duty.

The title of this thread is actually a question that has been haunting me for at least a few weeks, perhaps from a need for a little introspection but also from a broader aspect. I am struck by the observation that seem to be a whole lot of spiritual 'weekend warriors' wearing the 'Christian' label. No judgement intended - just an observation.

So I ask myself -  am I one of them or can I honestly say that I am a 24/7 warrior for the King of the Universe? Am I really of use as a soldier in the Lord's Army if I am nothing more than a Sunday morning pew warmer?

Food for thought. Is it a valid question for us as Chistians?

Your thoughts, please.
