While the idea sounds nice, I think this is just a publicity stunt for Branson promoters to make more money. Have you ever been to Branson? It has to be one of the most artificial places I have ever been. Oh and what is this welcome home going to cost the veteran? "Registration Fee Cost of registration for Welcome Home is $100 per person. Children 12 and under are free. Each group or individual participant will receive confirmation of registration by return mail. " You still have to pay for lodging, meals, the hillbilly shows, etc.

Looks like this is another attempt to profit from Veterans. It looks to me that this "Homecoming" is more than 30 years too late!  We should support our Airborne Units reunions, where we know who are the organizers and where tha money goes. GR
