I have returned from my first State Convention for the 82nd Assoc. We had a WONDERFUL time. My thanks to all of those who attended for the assistance and great times that wont be forgoten.

I was honrod to meet all the WWII Veterans that were Airborne, We did a head count on members from the 504 and I have encluded a picture of all of us that were Veterans of the Regiment. I also met Mr. James Magelles, most of you will know who he is. He is the Author of "All The Way to Berlin". He also is the highest decorated Officer from the 82d Airborne in WWII. Next Years will be in Corpus Christie Tx. I met both of the National Directors Manny, and Richard Becker.

Read his book. Among many other actions, James Magelles was in the first-wave across the WAAL (Lower-Rhine) River in Nijmegan, Sept. 20, 1944... Hooah!
