Just got back from the 2004 SOF Week at SOCOM. What a GREAT experience ! When you get to meet ONE MOH recipient, its an honr -- they had 8 there ! Also got to meet SGM (RET) Tabita, who received the 2004 Bull Simons award. The man served in Korea, Vietnam (4 tours including 2 with MACVSOG) and continues to serve, at 74, as a JFK School trainer where he continues to jump. HHOOAAHH !! Next year's SOF week is in June. Go to the SOCOM web site to get more information and try to attend -- its worth it !
You can run and you can hide, but you'll only die tired !

I know who he is and how long he's been around here, and for the record I wasn't busting his balls. I guess I can post wherever I want as well since I "arrived" here a mere 2 weeks after him. Furthermore, his arrival date, his "creds" (impeccable or not) and his security clearance have no bearing. I just don't believe that it was the right place for this thread to be placed. IMO, this topic area was created for a specific purpose and now I've seen 2 separate threads not relating to the "ultimate sacrifice" topic. Why bother then with the separation of topics?

Why bust people's nuts over posting on this topic, if it's a cherry, or a nonsensical topic fine. We're supposed to be adults not hall monitors. Yes Hossra's creds mean more...alot more to me than yours. Have a nice day!

Like I said in my PREVIOUS post, I am not busting any balls. And you are correct, we are supposed to be ADULTS here, not whiny kids playing the "my d*ck is bigger than yours" game. I simply don't care what you think of my "creds". I simply made an on the spot correction and that is all. If you choose to try and make it a bigger issue than that, well I apologize to all those out there that will be forced to read that dribble. I wasn't trying to hijack this thread so I won't say anything more here off the thread topic. You have a nice day as well. By the way Hossra, I failed to mention previously that it was a good post and thanks for the info!

Cherry, still haven't changed that handle huh? Busting Cherry's nuts is always acceptable it's part of the rites of passage not a double standard. Cal, good point and yes it is good info. I concede the point that our "members" are of similar size and therefore no need to go there. Have a good'un.
