Marines In Fallujah Keep Enemy In Sight Teams of snipers thin insurgents’ ranks. [Philadelphia Inquirer, April 29, 2004, Pg. 1] Marines waiting for the word to invade Fallujah are using sniper teams that target anyone suspected of being an insurgent. Two sniper teams, in the past three weeks, have shot down 90 people who strayed into their sights.

well done Marines! But this: "have shot down 90 people who strayed into their sights" is irresponsible reporting, in my books. It makes it sound as though these men are simply engaging targets at random, as opposed to the selective target aquisition they are performing. I wonder if that's deliberate or not?
