Ft. Benning is undertaking a new project at the Airborne Walk next to Eubanks Field. Monuments are going to be erected around the field, beginning at the Walk, to commemorate each combat air assualt of battalion size or larger. These will start with the jumps in North Africa and end with Iraq(or the last one at that time). There will be one monument per event going in chronological order and The Static Line will be in charge of raising money for the project. As more details come out they will be posted.
