Good news!! Ertman is released to light duty! Doc says that I can ride the desk now. Physical therapy has been a bitch. My strength is way down, but my range of motion is coming back very well except for external rotation (hold your elbow at your side and now rotate your forearm outward) Externally I have less than 10 degrees of movement, not good. Hopefully the next month of PT can correct that, or I may need another surgery.

Keep up the good work with your PT! I know it is b!tch, but in the end it is what you have to do to get back in action!!
Good to hear they will at least be letting you ride a desk in the meantime! Downtime and inactivity truely sucks!

Alright goddammit! How the hell did I miss this thread when it was fresh.
Glad to hear you are ok Ertman. Make sure they integrate dive and roll excercises into your physical therapy. Sorry I missed this though...I don't know how I did.

Take care and heal up , i know it is a long and painful journey for recovery had a little mishap years ago ,11hours on the table to put my hand back together ended up with 70% useage so hang in there Trooper
